According to folklore, the fictious sea creature known as the mermaid, has the head and trunk of a woman and the tail of a fish. Although
most mermaids are thought to have long flowing yellow or blonde hair, many are depicted with dark brown or black hair as well as red hair like the infamous Aerial of the Little Mermaid.
